The Human IgG test is intended for detection of human IgG in any forensic specimens or their extract. This test can also exclude forensic samples of non-human origins during forensic investigations. IgG is a normal component of human blood, serum or urine specimens, but is not present in any other liquids or animal body fluid. Sample adulteration is usually achieved by substitution, dilution or addition of adulterants. This test can also identify human samples and to exclude liquid substitutions and grossly diluted samples. The test can also exclude human samples that are so adulterated that the immuno-reaction between human IgG and anti-human IgG is interupted. IgG is a normal component of human body fluid. Human IgG is unique to human body fluid but is not present in any other liquids or animal urine. Human IgG Test is based on the principle of the highly specific immunological reactions that are used for the analysis of human IgG in biological fluids. The Human IgG Test can be used as a rapid, visual, qualitative method to detect human IgG in forensic specimens at a cut-off concentration of 5 ng/ml.
